iCAR- MOBILE

iCAR-MOBILE is an autonomous and portable mechanism for automatic reading of vehicles licence plates.

It is a measurement solution that can be very quickly spread out within the context of temporary campaigns. It is totally mobile and transportable and very easy to install.

The results can be recorded, making of iCAR-MOBILE a traffic recorder, or directly processed on the spot via a search in a list of valid, banned or wanted licence plates.

OBJECTIVE

iCAR-MOBILE is specially appropriate to all the temporary analyses of road traffic.

For statistics, systems can be placed on the road to record all the vehicles on several places in order to create matrixes "departures-destinations" or to investigate the type of traffic (nationality, type of vehicle, passengers in transit, etc).

iCAR-MOBILE can also be used to detect wanted or allowed vehicles loaded in a local database and to give a signal via wireless communication to an intervention operator (action at the frontiers, search for stolen vehicles, temporary access check, etc).

DESCRIPTION

iCAR-MOBILE is composed of three elements : an upper box, a pole and a lower box which contains batteries.

Thanks to the two installed batteries, iCAR-MOBILE can have a continuous running time up to 72 hours.

iCAR-MOBILE is completely automatic and does not ask any configuration. It is mechanically built to be able to direct the reading head so that it can be placed along the road or on a bridge.
